Picture of Saidu Baba Shrine , 1950. The shrine of Saidu Baba was renovated and thus this wooden frame was removed. On the directions of the ruler of Swat State, the wooden frame of Saidu Baba shrine (Akhund of Swat) was then taken to Kanju village and installed at the shrine of Akhun Karim Dad famously known as Shaheed Baba. Akhun Karim Dad was born in 1557 (according to some sources in 1562). He was a poet of repute in his times but unfortunately all that poetry has been lost. He was the child of Akhund Darweza Baba (R.A).
